Derek Cox - Director of Photography/Sound Designer/Editor -- Polymyth Productions
Derek Cox is a Director of Photography, Editor, and loving husband. He uses a blend of movement, select focus, and creative lighting to develop a signature style for each project. He received an Emmy for his work on the PBS Documentary, Seeing Stars in Indiana; and he collaborated with Lucia Mauro on the award-winning short film, In My Brother's Shoes. He's a Partner at the Chicago-based Polymyth Productions, a full-service video production company dedicated to imaginative storytelling.
Dan Finnen - Line Producer/Assistant Director/Script Consultant/Set Photographer -- Polymyth Productions
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Dan has been telling stories since the days when his only actors were Legos. He is passionate about writing and has authored countless stage scripts, screenplays and short stories over the years. Dan is also hard of hearing, and in a strange twist of fate, has initials that spell out 'DEF'.​ He's a Partner & Managing Director at the Chicago-based Polymyth Productions, a full-service video production company dedicated to imaginative storytelling.
Carter Lodwick - Location Sound/Editor/

Carter is an illustrator and game designer who looks great in plaid. When he isn't drawing, he can be found riding a yellow bicycle and discussing the finer points of indie video games. Carter graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013. He's a Partner and Art Director at the Chicago-based Polymyth Productions, a full-service video production company dedicated to imaginative storytelling.
Andrea Labate - Assistant Director/Drone Operator, Italy Unit
Struck by the power of images from a young age, Andrea Labate started his career working as an assistant photographer when he was only 16. He moved to London to complete his university studies at the London College of Communication, working at the same time in Italy as a photographer. An avid world traveler and culture lover, he has already filmed in four continents and completed a documentary in Ethiopia, commissioned by ActionAid. He won the Prix Italia with his short film, A day at EXPO. Last year his short film, These things take time, was awarded Best Food Short Film at the Locarno Film Festival, and his short film, Desèrt, won special mention at the Lake Como Film Festival. Currently based in Milan, Andrea is attending the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and working as a freelance director and DP, developing his specific taste for advertising and documentary filmmaking, but always keeping an eye open for narrative.
Jonathan Broeker - Production Assistant, U.S. -- Polymyth Productions
Jonathan Broeker is a small town boy who came to Chicago in 2011 to pursue acting, writing, directing, and any other form of storytelling he could find. He has a BS in Business Administration and a BA in Theatre Arts from St. Joseph’s College and has spent considerable time working in everything from the arts to manufacturing, often at the same time.
Zack Gripko - Camera Operator, U.S.
Early in his career, Zack found his interest in the visual arts as a photographer. Through the progression of various creative jobs, he has cultivated experience as a photographer, designer, camera operator, director, editor, and creative producer. He has produced several music videos, a weekly web video series, numerous short films, corporate pieces, and commercial spots. Zack received his Bachelor's Degree in Business-Finance and Spanish.
Megg Clement - Make Up, U.S.
Megg Clement started her makeup training while receiving a BA in Theater from Columbia College Chicago. She continued her training at the Aveda Institute Chicago, where she studied esthetics. Megg always had a love for photography and film, and specializes in making actors look best in their headshots and on camera. More info: Megg Does Makeup
Andrea Gentile - Production Coordinator, Aosta, Italy
Andrea Gentile is a former professional soccer player based in Aosta, Italy. He is involved in the hospitality industry and passionate about sharing his love of culture, history, cuisine and philosophy. Andrea provided key logistical advice, secured our filming locations, and expanded our professional network in Valle d'Aosta, Italy.
